Well, you visiting this page proofs you'd like to read a little more about me and/or this gallery.
Okay, so I started collecting cels in 2003 with a unknown little show called Dragonball Z, you might have heard of it XD
But soon after my first few cels my interest in them not only skyrocketed, but also expanded to other shows. Saint Seiya, Hunter x Hunter and Weiss Kreuz quickly became my main interests and soon the first cels of those shows started to find their way to my gallery.
As far as Hunter x Hunter is concerned; I still love the series to death and I will always be checking for cels.
But the scenes I'm after are impossible to find, and if they, right after Satan called about his thermostat, do show up; they will probably cost a fortune. So I won't be holding my breath for those. In the meantime I'll just have to be satisfied with my two pan cels.
Weiss Kreuz however is still represented in this gallery and nowadays, The Weiss section contains 5 cels of the TV and OVA series, 4 rilezu cels of CG show Weiss Kreuz Gluhen (of which two are OP scenes), and my pride and joy: 10 Weiss Kreuz TV OP and Ending cels.
Saint Seiya, a show relatively unknown to the American public, is pretty sought after by both Japanese and French collectors. The cels, like the cels from Dragonball Z, suffer from line fading, not only because of the show's age (1986). Currently I do not own as many cels of this show as I would like (I sold almost all of them), but there's one cel in my gallery that I am very proud of owning; a wonderful close-up cel of Phoenix Ikki crying (something you won't see him do very often).

2006 brought with it a change for me. Not only in my personal life, but also in cel collecting. I completely stopped collecting, put up my entire collection for sale and offers and came awfully close to closing down and deleting this gallery altogether. I decided to focus more on my art work and I spent 2006 mostly concentrating on Cipher (a story with illustrations Gabe and I created and are still working on).
But after time, during which my sales progressed and I sold more and more of my cels I became aware that it was getting more and more difficult for me to part with my more prized cels.
2007 came and I became active again in checking Yahoo Japan, dealer sites and personal sales from other collectors. But I realised my standards had changed. I wasn't interested anymore in the 'common' cels (oy..snob! XD).
Truth is, I didn't feel like spending money on cels I'd probably end up selling again after a while anyway. So I decided, if I would indeed return to cel collecting, to do it right and only focus on those cels that will be sure to hold my attention for a long time.
Nowadays, I try to collect from only a few series, hopefully I'll be able to stick to my own rules :P
Even though I came back to cel collecting I'm not expecting this gallery to grow at a fast pace. Most likely it will even decrease in size because I'm selling all cels I'm not all that attached to, mostly of series that could not hold my interest over time.
I'll be concentrating on a little more higher end cels and hopefully I'll be able to add some good stuff here, worthy of your time.
